Takis Spiropoulos

Managing Director and Head of Global e-Commerce Solutions Group. The group offers electronic pricing and trading services to internal and external clients for
fixed income, currencies and commodities. Prior to joining CIBC in June 2009, Takis was head of FX e-Commerce sales and trading at Merrill Lynch, and was responsible for the FX e-trading operation of Bank of America Merrill Lynch after the merger. Prior to that he run the FX e-trading business at Dresdner Kleinwort, and was a quantitative analyst at HSBC working on equity derivatives, interest rate swaps, convertible bonds and FX options. He was the research co-ordinator of the business school of the University of Hertfordshire. Takis holds a degree in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Sunderland and a Ph.D. in Bayesian Decision Support Systems.
