Mike O'Hara

Mike O'Hara started his career as a junior trader on the LIFFE floor with UBS in the mid-1980's. He spent most of the 1990's working for SunGard, before leaving to set up the UK operations of Iris Investment Support Systems and Alysis Technologies. He founded Voices in Business, his social media and business development consultancy firm, in 2006.Mike created the High Frequency Trading Review in early 2010, to discuss the players, the technology, the news stories, the controversy and everything else that makes HFT such a fascinating topic. Since then, the HFT Review has gone on to become one of the top-ranked websites worldwide for information related to HFT and algo trading.A keen musician in his spare time, Mike works out of an office and studio in the Kent countryside.
