Joe Cassidy

Joe set-up The Coneybury Partnership in June 2013 as a platform for the incubation, development and execution of new ideas and IP across Financial Services.

 Previously Joe was MD at Lloyds Banking Group, Head of E-Commerce for Wholesale Businesses and responsible for developing an OTC clearing business as well as heavily involved in shaping the response to ICB, EMIR, D-F and the PCBS.
Immediately prior to joining Lloyds, Joe was Global Head of Rates Intermediation and Clearing at Deutsche Bank, where he set up and ran Deutsche's Global OTC clearing business, as well as contributing heavily to the broader business strategy post-D-F.  His career spans 20+ years in Managing Director and senior roles with well-known financial services firms and consultancies, including Nomura International, Business Control Solutions, Lehman Brothers, OSI Group (FI Group / Xansa), and Barclays.  While working at Barclays in the 90's, Joe was seconded to the G20 Group of Banks to project manage the initial business requirements and proof of concept for Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS).
